Wed Nov 19, 2008, 6:45 PM
Hi, how are you? This is Fig signing on to announce that I've started another gallery specifically for photographs. For those of you who like my shots, it's a musty must-see. It's also good news for people who don't like my photography, because you'll be seeing less of it here from now on.

INTRODUCTING::iconfiguava::iconfiguava::iconfiguava::iconfiguava::iconfiguava: FIGUAVA! AAAH!

PS: I would like to remind everyone that I still update my SCRAPBOOK. There are goodies and crusties and moldy oldies too. Don't miss out on the smut, folks.

More to come!

  • Mood: Optimism
  • Listening to: Magical Mystery Tour
  • Reading: Nova Express
  • Eating: noodles

Do you go to Ringling now? I think I saw you riding your bike.

Thanks I never was a happypinetree-type of artist. I'm not sure what you mean by keen but you will see the more I rattle the more apparent my social awkwardness becomes. I'm notorious for awkward social encounters. Pinky harps on me for it all the time.

One would think we'd cross paths more frequently considering I have been slowly eating my way through the library. No rhyme or reason to it I've been letting serendipity take me where it will. You're the first person I've ever met who has actually heard of Cooper and/or likes his work. They only have Ripple, Crumple and Dan and Larry in: Don't Do That. I found them here on a field trip when I was 11 (so they've been here a while). Re-reading them now has made me wonder what they did to my brain as a small impressionable child. Do you have an affinity for any other artist's work? (that is if you don't mind my asking)

[Again I find myself writing at 3am- oops. I should probably sleep more. night]

dropping by to say: "h.i."

Your gallery makes my brain meat happy.
I'm really liking your comics and oils- particularly your color pallets. It works so well the way you use it and the underlying theme/tone in your comic work is something I haven't ever seen in student work.
Some of your graphic stuff reminds me of dave cooper's pieces/comics (like a surreal and high contrast+juxtaposed feel that radiates off the subject matter/color and tech. with a heavy message beneath)... our library has some of the coolest shit, and apparently your gallery does to.

[night!]
